CoD: Black Ops Cold War’s Outbreak Mode is available to play ahead of release

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s upcoming Outbreak mode is available to play right now. It appears that the update was pushed on the consoles and allows players to try out the upcoming game mode titled Outbreak. Outbreak will become available with tomorrow’s update when Season 2 will officially deploy, but console players might jump into it a bit earlier.

The new game mode is accessible with a little trick on the consoles as per TheRealGhost509, and his YouTube video players can circumvent the prevention and try Outbreak ahead of release. The trick is to go in Offline mode, disconnect the PS from the internet, and then start the game. After that, go to Zombies and go to Custom Games, where you can find Outbreak as available.

Take a look at the video below:

While any online play will be prevented, it will still allow you to taste the upcoming game mode by just wandering around. Outbreak is an objective-based gameplay experience set across multiple regions in the Ural mountains of Russia. The game mode’s official deployment should occur on the 25th of February, but you could experience it a bit earlier than that.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
