Wonder Momo To Join The Switch Arcade Archives Series

The groundbreaking game in 1987, Wonder Momo, will be joining the Arcade Archives series on Switch.

When we say groundbreaking, we mean that in 1987, this game was the first one that featured a female protagonist. This happened in a period when this was very unusual to happen, especially in the gaming world. Soon after its release in the Japanese arcades, Wonder Momo got a PC-Engine port.

The fame of the game soon went into dust. There were many attempts to bring the game back to life, but every project that involved Wonder Momo failed. The character (a schoolgirl that gets superpowers) has been mentioned in several other projects, such as Tales of the Abyss, where Anise Tatlin owns a doll that looks like Wonder Momo.

Wonder Momo will be available on the Switch eShop on March 31st, which is less than a week away.

Will you get the game? What do you think about Wonder Momo?
