Escape From Tarkov Arena Might Be Released This Year

Team-based or not, Arena is mandatory in Escape From Tarkov.

Escape From Tarkov’s upcoming Arena mode is not forgotten, the developer reveals. According to a recent statement made by BSG’s COO, Nikita, they are working on it, and its current state seems very healthy. During today’s broadcast on Twitch, Battlestate Games revealed that Escape From Tarkov Arena could eventually be released this year.

Whether planned to be a completely standalone client or a part of Escape From Tarkov, Arena is supposed to pit players against each other in faster and much more straightforward matchmaking. The stakes at which the players will enter might remain the same, and that’s the gear they enter with.

Further details remain scarce, but it’s definitely fun to hear about this game mode coming to Tarkov. Below you can find Nikita’s statement regarding the subject.
