Next Assassin’s Creed Game Reportedly Set in Baghdad
Next Game Called Rift, and set in the the capital of Iraq.
Have you ever wanted to visit Baghdad, the capital of Iraq? Well, if you haven’t had the opportunity to see it, you’ll very likely get the chance to do so in the next Assassin’s Creed game called Rift. These claims come from a renowned Bloomberg video game reporter, Jason Schreier, who provided the intel by answering a Reddit post.
Over on the GamingLeaksandRumors subreddit, Jason Schreier claimed that Rift is the next Assassin’s Creed game set in Baghdad. He continued saying that the next game in the series will be Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which will include many different video game experiences. The Reddit is attached just below:
It would be no surprise if the next Assassin’s Creed game started as a Valhalla expansion. Basim, a character appearing in two AC games, originates from Baghdad, which pulls another question about his existence within the next series. The curiosity behind the question of whether the next Assassin’s Creed game is called Rift still lingers, as Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed anything.
To see what the Assassin’s Creed destiny holds, we’ll have to wait until September, when Ubisoft will host an event dedicated to the “future of Assassin’s Creed.”
