Dota 2’s upcoming hero “Muerta” looks scary as hell

The new Dota 2 hero is on its way into the game. “Muerta” has suffered too many atrocities of the living and followed the trails of the damned. The hero was announced during the grand TI finale that took place in Singapore this weekend. Muerta is the 124th hero coming to Dota 2, and is supposed to arrive in early 2023.

While it’s more like a teaser trailer (embedded at the top of this article), we can still see her devastating look, which has already grasped tons of human souls to become their favorite. If guessing was allowed, her look strongly reminds us of the one of Wraith King, so I would say that Muerta is either a close relative of Wraith King, or his true love.

As she passes through the candles and relics, Muerta talks about how she’s been manipulated by the living, which turned her suffering into revenge. Then, she speaks about the dread she nestles upon the living creatures, and why everyone fears her more than death.

Last but not least, when she turns towards the camera, we can probably see something related to her Ultimate ability, as her body bursts with light, teal-colored markings. While her abilities remain scarce, we can assume that she’s about to be an agility-focused carry hero based on those two guns she’s holding. Probably a hard carry since we haven’t gotten one for a long time.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
