Rumor: Rumbleverse might be gone by the end of the month

Our favorite “brawler” is about to go offline or at least is heading there based on the recent rumors whirling the internet, despite the recent Nintendo Switch version of Rumbleverse being rated in Taiwan. Nintendo Switch fans were recently thrilled to discover that Rumbleverse might be headed their way, but those plans have been put on hold.

Online gaming is quickly becoming overcrowded and highly competitive, leading to an ever-shrinking life expectancy for many titles, with even the most novel ideas eventually succumbing. As a result, another good game looks to be added to that escalating list of short-lived success stories.

After much anticipation, last August saw the launch of Iron Galaxy and Epic Games’ highly anticipated free-to-play battle royale brawler Rumbleverse. Unfortunately, despite its promise of exciting multiplayer thrills, it ended up disappointing in terms of player numbers.

Known leaker Tom Henderson has stated that this month might bring the end of Epic Games’ and Iron Galaxy’s Rumbleverse, and get the game taken offline for good.
