A sad, sad day, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShop has finally ceased to exist. A distant memory. But a little mistake has been made by Nintendo.
As you know, the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShop digital stores have officially ended, and with them, the code redemption system was supposed to go to ashes. However, a mistake on Nintendo’s end made the code redemption system end way earlier than it was originally supposed to.
To apologize to its users, Nintendo has decided to extend the code redemption period for 3DS and Wii U eShops until April 4th, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. JST (April 3rd, 2023, at 9:30 p.m. PT; April 4th, 2023, at 12:30 a.m. ET). So you have a few days to redeem your digital game codes. Set an alarm, otherwise, it will all go up in flames once everything closes.
