Nintendo Announces Indie World Live Stream Featuring Upcoming Indie Games for Switch

The Indie World showcase will provide a 20-minute glimpse into the future of independent games coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo has revealed plans to host an Indie World live stream this Wednesday, April 19th at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST. The event will focus on upcoming indie games scheduled for the Nintendo Switch. Fans can tune in to the live stream through Nintendo’s YouTube channel or watch the embedded video at the top of this page.

The Indie World showcase will last approximately 20 minutes and provide viewers with the latest news and updates on indie games making their way to the popular gaming console. During the November showcase, three games, A Little to the Left, Rogue Legacy 2, and Once Upon a Jester – were launched on the Switch the same day they were featured.

The upcoming Indie World live stream is another opportunity for independent game developers to gain exposure and for Nintendo Switch owners to discover new and exciting titles to add to their collection. The gaming community eagerly awaits the announcement of fresh indie projects that will expand the ever-growing Nintendo Switch library.

In addition to the Indie World live stream, Nintendo has also announced plans to bring the Nintendo Live fanfest to the United States this year. This event is sure to draw Nintendo enthusiasts from across the country, offering them a chance to engage with their favorite gaming brand in a more immersive way.
