Warzone 2 Server Issues Are Still Present, and Infinity Ward Is Working Around the Clock to Fix Them

In recent weeks, Warzone 2 players have been plagued by server issues, with many complaints about bullet registration, delayed actions, and significant frame drops since the launch of Season 3 on April 12. After the Call of Duty community spotlighted these problems, Infinity Ward finally acknowledged the issues and is actively working to resolve them.

One of the most frustrating issues reported by players has been the bullet registration problems. Players have experienced situations where their shots appear to hit the target, but no damage is dealt, making the game feel inconsistent and unbalanced. This issue has led to heated public debates, questioning the game’s netcode and hit detection systems.

Alongside the bullet registration issues, players have been experiencing delayed actions, such as slow weapon switching and unresponsive movements. This has made the game feel sluggish and unresponsive, affecting the overall gameplay experience. And, yes, some of these issues are annoying as the one below:

Moreover, both console and PC players have reported significant frame drops since the launch of Season 3. These frame drops have led to choppy gameplay, making it difficult for players to react quickly and accurately in high-pressure situations.

After several high-profile Call of Duty community members drew attention to these issues, Infinity Ward finally acknowledged them on April 20. The studio has assured players that they are “investigating” the server issues and are working to resolve them as quickly as possible.
