Escape From Tarkov is Getting Technical Update Tomorrow, May 26

Battlestate Games has announced scheduled maintenance for their popular first-person shooter, Escape From Tarkov, to take place tomorrow, May 26. The developer shared the news through their official Twitter account, informing players that the game will receive a technical update.

According to the announcement, the maintenance is scheduled to begin at 8 AM BST / 3 AM EDT and is expected to last approximately 4 hours. However, the duration may be extended if necessary. During this time, Escape From Tarkov will not be accessible to players.

While the specific details of the update have not been disclosed, the maintenance window and patch version suggests that a client-side download will be required. Once the patch notes are out, we’ll make sure to update this article.

This update could be related to upcoming in-game events. It’s inevitable that a new wipe is upon us as we’re getting close to the end of the current play cycle. Are you excited about this?
