Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust Unveils Enthralling Gameplay, Introduces Fresh Magic and Foes

Discover Athia's past in the new story DLC for Forspoken, featuring new spells, enemies, and adventures with Tanta Cinta.

Square Enix has recently released the gameplay trailer (embedded above) for Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust, giving players a glimpse of what they can expect from the upcoming story DLC. Set as a prequel to the main game, In Tanta We Trust takes place 25 years before the events of Forspoken and is slated for release on May 26, 2023.

The gameplay trailer showcases Frey Holland‘s journey into Athia‘s past, where she discovers a once-thriving land ravaged by war. Joined by Tanta Cinta, Frey must uncover the secrets behind the conflict and end the Gloaming that threatens the world of Athia.

In Tanta We Trust introduces exciting new magical abilities for Frey, including a mini black hole that can engulf nearby enemies. Players can also look forward to enhanced movement techniques thanks to Cinta’s guidance. The trailer teases a massive new beast, hinting at the possibility of a formidable new boss to challenge players in their quest to save Athia.

The DLC is set to release on May 26th for PS5 and PC platforms. Despite disappointing sales for the base game, Luminous Productions and Square Enix are determined to deliver an engaging and immersive experience with In Tanta We Trust.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
