Pokemon Go Shadow Raid Bosses, Shadow Regional Raid Bosses Throh and Sawk

Trainers, the Shadow Raids are the latest addition to Pokemon Go, and to be honest this is one of the better features they introduced in the game so far. You can battle and beat different Shadow Pokemon in Shadow Raids, so let’s see the current Shadow Raid Bosses.
Niantic and Pokemon Go introduced the Shadow Raids in May 2023, and for the first time, we had a chance to battle and catch Shiny Shadow Mewtwo. Shiny Shadow Mewtwo was available in Five-star Shadow Raids for a limited time, and now you will have a chance to battle and catch Shadow Articuno, and Shiny Shadow Articuno. Please note that starting from June 10, 2023, Shadow Articuno will appear in Shadow Raids every weekend in June. Shadow Articuno can be shiny, so make sure to challenge it, beat it, and get yourselves a new Shiny Shadow Pokemon.
The Pokemon Go Shadow Raid pool has three Tiers, Tier 1, Tier 3, and Tier 5. The Shadow Raids also offer two Shadow Regional Pokemon, Throh, and Sawk. Please keep in mind that five-star Shadow Raids are available only on weekends.
That said, let’s take a look at the current Shadow Raid Bosses, and what Shadow Raid Boss can be shiny.
Current Shadow Raid Bosses (June 2023)
One-star Shadow Raids
- Shadow Growlithe (can be shiny)
- Shadow Abra
- Shadow Mareep
- Shadow Starly
Three-star Shadow Raids
- Shadow Sneasel (can be shiny)
- Shadow Gligar (can be shiny)
- Shadow Throh – available in NA, SA, and Africa
- Shadow Sawk – available in Europe, Asia, and Australia
Five-star Shadow Raids
- Shadow Articuno (can be shiny)
Throh and Sawk are region-locked Raids that can’t be done remotely, and you can’t trade Shadow Pokemon. Great, right?
