Fortnite July 11 Hotfix Introduces Slap Splash Event and More
Epic Games has rolled out a hotfix for Fortnite v25.11 that introduces the Slap Splash event, among other fresh features. Notably, this update is server-side, meaning players don’t need to worry about downloading additional files.
The centerpiece of this update, the Slap Splash, adds a new dynamic to the Fortnite Summer Escape festivities. In line with the party theme, Slap Splash is a shareable Slap Juice that can restore the Effective Health of players and their teams, coupled with a temporary unlimited Energy regeneration bonus.
Players can find Slap Splashes across the game world, including on the ground, in Chests, coolers, Holo-Chests, at Points of Interest, or by shooting down flying drones. To use one, throw it to splash Slap Juice, which benefits the user and the surrounding teammates.
The hotfix also introduces Exotic Slap Splashes, a more potent variant of the Slap Splashes found in Exotic Holo-Chests and Loot Llamas. These will provide more Effective Health and a longer Energy regen period than their regular counterparts. However, the developers have vaulted the Chug Cannon to make room for this new item.

While the party vibes continue with Fortnite’s Summer Escape, start another celebration with Slap Splash! This case of shareable Slap Juice restores your or your team’s Effective Health and gives short-term unlimited Energy regen. Wanna start the party right away? Activate the new Splash Party Reality Augment for instant Slap Splashes, and the new Roaming Redeploy Reality Augment to glide away when the party ends!
SLAP SPLASH: ENERGY FOR EVERYONE
Slap Splashes can be picked up from a variety of sources: the ground, Chests, coolers, Holo-Chests, claiming POIs, and shooting down flying drones. Once you have one in-hand, throw it down to splash Slap Juice for you and your teammates! The Slap Juice will restore your and your teammates’ Effective Health, plus give you and your teammates short-term unlimited Energy regen in case you need to sprint from menacing foes in the Wilds.

Want Slap Splash with even more kick? Exotic Slap Splashes can be found from Exotic Holo-Chests and Loot Llamas, and will grant more Effective Health and a longer temporary Energy regen than regular Slap Splashes. (To accommodate the entry of the Exotic Slap Splash, the Chug Cannon has been vaulted.)
