Pokémon GO Adventures Abound Season highlights, unveiling Paldea region, Shadow Zapdos, Master Ball, and bonus perks
Hello Trainers! The forthcoming season, Adventures Abound, is filled with thrilling experiences that will urge you to put on your walking shoes and hit the road. We’re so excited about it and here’s why you should be too.
First things first – say hello to the Pokémon from the Paldea region, previously featured in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Keep an eye out; more surprises from Paldea might be coming our way throughout the season.
What’s that in the sky? Oh, it’s just Shadow Zapdos coming in hot. Shadow Raids are making a return, with one-star and three-star raids happening daily, and the crème de la crème, five-star raids, taking place on weekends. And yes, shiny hunters, a Shiny Shadow Zapdos is on the table!
If you’re in for a unique adventure, the new Routes feature is your ticket. Created by fellow Trainers, these routes might lead you to your new favorite Pokémon or even a new raid buddy.

There’s more – PokéStop Showcases are rolling out, giving you a sneak peek into what’s brewing in Pokémon GO during Adventures Abound. And, oh boy, you can’t miss the Special Research that’s dropping, letting you choose your very own Paldean partner Pokémon.
Don’t forget about the Timed Investigation centered around the Master Ball. Complete it and you’ve got yourself the ultimate Poké Ball.
But that’s not all; mark your calendars for upcoming Community Days and new GO Battle League seasons. Speaking of calendars, Pokémon GO City Safaris are making their debut, offering you city-wide adventures in Seoul, Barcelona, and Mexico City.
We’ve also got seasonal bonuses, allowing you to open and send up to 40 gifts daily. Plus, you’ll see an increase in damage when raiding with friends and boosted XP from friendship levels.
