Video Game Updates & Patch Notes

Ubisoft is getting ready for new The Division 2 season, maintenance and more

The Division 2 goes under maintenance as they announced a couple of significant infrastructure optimizations in the wake of the upcoming Season. While the patch notes are currently missing, a recent update on the game’s official Twitter page revealed an estimated downtime of four hours, meaning players should brace for another two hours before diving back into the action.

We have planned two rounds of infrastructure optimizations in preparation for the upcoming season. We’ll be taking #TheDivision2 servers down for a scheduled maintenance:

  • 1️⃣ On Tuesday, September 26th
  • 2️⃣ On Thursday, September 28th
  • At 9:30 AM CEST, 3:30 AM EDT, 12:30 AM PDT”

Long periods of inactivity might be a tad frustrating, but it’s crucial to remember that these updates are designed to improve the overall experience. Ubisoft seems committed to ensuring the best possible environment for its players, even if it means taking the game offline temporarily.
