For Honor’s ‘Theater of Bones’ Halloween Event to Launch on October 26

Ubisoft is preparing to celebrate Halloween across its various multiplayer games, and For Honor is part of the mix. The game’s “Theater of Bones” Halloween event is set to begin on October 26, adding new content and features to spice up gameplay. This event is part of the ongoing Year 7 Season 3, known as “Deceit,” which promises to deliver an exciting, darker narrative fitting for the Halloween season.

For those wondering about the storyline behind the “Deceit” season, “Theater of Bones” aims to shed light on it. The Ghost Festival, a Wu Lin celebration to honor the deceased, is a trap set by the menacing White Bone Spirit. Captured souls are compelled to perform in her eerie theater, where the Monkey King Wukong stands as the only beacon of hope. He’s set to disrupt the White Bone Spirit’s evil plans and liberate her captives.

One of the main attractions of this event is the new narrative-driven PvE game mode inspired by Chinese opera. Players will navigate through four theatrical scenes, each offering a unique set design, lighting, and visual effects, before going head-to-head with the White Bone Spirit. This particular game mode will be available from October 26 until November 16.

If you’re a fan of cosmetics, this event has you covered. You can purchase a new Hero Skin for the Shaolin, themed after the Monkey King Wukong. A free Event Pass will also be available, offering players the chance to unlock a new ornament, battle outfit, and mood effect.

Year 7 Season 3 doesn’t stop at the event; it also brings new armor variations and Hero Fests. During a Hero Fest, players can try out a Hero for free for a week and even buy them at a discounted rate. Each Hero Fest will also introduce a unique execution move, adding another layer of excitement. The Zhanhu Hero Fest will coincide with the return of the Zhanhu’s Gambit game mode, running from November 23-30.

For Honor is currently available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC through various platforms like Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. It is also included in the Ubisoft+ subscription package.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
