Risk of Rain: Hostile Worlds bringing intense combat and a Versanto System to iOS and Android

The mobile gaming sphere is about to get a really exciting game, and we are sure that you will like what you read.

Gearbox Publishing and developer Frima have exciting news for mobile gamers – they’ve just announced Risk of Rain: Hostile Worlds, a free-to-play shooter action RPG currently in development for iOS and Android. While a release date hasn’t been revealed yet, the game promises to bring the fast-paced, bullet h*** roguelike gameplay of the Risk of Rain series to the mobile platform, combined with elements of a hero collector and action RPG.

In Risk of Rain: Hostile Worlds, you’ll embark on a thrilling journey through the Versanto System, collecting Survivors and battling a variety of characters and monsters in a canon storyline that expands the Risk of Rain universe. One of the game’s standout features is the ability to seamlessly swap between up to three Survivors mid-combat, allowing you to create powerful and strategic combinations to conquer your enemies.

The game also offers dynamic difficulty scaling to keep every run fresh and challenging, as well as the excitement of discovering unique item combinations hidden in chests. Be prepared for intense battles against colossal bosses, either solo or with up to three friends in dedicated co-op mode.

Risk of Rain: Hostile Worlds promises an immersive experience as you explore the diverse and dangerous planets within the Versanto System. With hidden logs that unravel the fate of the UES Shimmer Mark’s crew, each journey will enrich the game’s lore and keep you coming back for more.
