Japan Announces New Pokémon TCG Set for 2024 Scarlet & Violet: Wild Force & Cyber Judge
Pokémon Trading Card Game enthusiasts, there’s exciting news from Japan. The first set of 2024 has been unveiled during the Japan 2024 Champions League Kyoto livestream, and it’s a dual set that’s sure to capture the attention of collectors and players alike. Named the SV5K Scarlet & Violet Expansion Pack Wild Force and the SV5M Scarlet & Violet Expansion Pack Cyber Judge, this set is slated for release on January 26, 2024.
Continuing the theme of Ancient & Future Pokémon, this set brings back the much-anticipated ACE SPEC cards. These special cards were first teased during Worlds 2023 and have now been confirmed to make a comeback in this latest set.
In addition to the cards, there’s also confirmed merchandise featuring Bianca, hinting strongly that she will likely have her own card in the set. This addition adds a layer of excitement for fans of the character and the series.
Each booster box of this set, launching on January 26, 2024, will contain 30 packs. The set is comprised of 71 cards plus an unknown number of SR cards or better, making it a robust addition to any collection. Priced at 5,400 yen (including tax), each booster box offers:

- Prime Catcher (Item – Ace Spec)
- Allows you to switch one of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon with their Active Pokémon and switch your Active Pokémon with one of your Benched Pokémon.
