When talking about the PlayStation 5 we can’t help but think that it’s not just a gaming console, it’s practically a trendsetter in the gaming world. In 2023, it’s not just holding its ground, it’s becoming the go-to symbol for a new era in gaming.

According to Finbold, around 1,238,109 PlayStation 5 units are finding new homes every month as of October 2023. March was a wild ride, with 1,898,817 units sold, and April took it a bit easier but still scored 1,221,162 units.

Breaking it down, that’s roughly 285,718 units flying off the shelves weekly. On a regular day, around 40,705 gamers are snagging a PlayStation 5. And if we zoom in even further, that’s a staggering 1,696 units finding new owners every single hour. Now, that’s some serious gaming appetite.

As the PlayStation 5 continues to capture the hearts and minds of gaming enthusiasts worldwide, it’s not merely about playing the latest titles; it’s about embracing a cultural movement that is reshaping the very fabric of our digital interactions.
