Pokémon GO December 2023 Community Day Special Research Tasks and Rewards, A chance to earn Sinnoh and Unova Stone
Pokémon GO’s December Community Day is set for the weekend of December 16 and 17, 2023, offering trainers a unique opportunity to catch a variety of Pokémon. This event brings back Pokémon featured in Community Day events from both 2023 and 2022, creating a blend of past favorites and recent highlights.
During the event, Pokémon from 2023 Community Days will be more frequently found in the wild and as part of Timed Research rewards. Adding to the excitement, Pokémon that starred in 2022 Community Days will be available from Eggs, in raids, and also as Timed Research rewards.
Each day of the event, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, will feature a specific set of Pokémon. These Pokémon will have the same increased chance of being Shiny as they did during their original Community Day appearances. For those who can’t participate in these specific hours, all featured Pokémon will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time on both Saturday and Sunday.
Additionally, a December Community Day–exclusive Special Research story is available for US$1.00, or the equivalent in your local currency. This Special Research consists of four steps, each providing different tasks, rewards, and Pokémon encounters, enhancing the Community Day experience.
