Rocket League Season 13 is Now Live, Patch Notes and More

Rocket League fans, rev up your engines! Season 13 has officially hit the scene, bringing a fresh wave of excitement to the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. With its release on December 6, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. PST (4:30 p.m. UTC), this season promises a lot.

THE HEADLINES

  • Season 13 Rocket Pass, featuring the new Car Bodies Ace and Primo, is now available
  • The new Arena variants Mannfield (Dusk), Farmstead (Pitched), and Wasteland (Pitched) are live in Online Playlists
  • Season 12 Competitive Rewards (Goal Explosions) are dropping for all eligible players

SEASON 13

ROCKET PASS

  • Season 13 Rocket Pass, featuring the new Car Bodies Ace and Primo, is now available
    • Ace uses the Breakout hitbox
    • Primo uses the Hybrid hitbox
    • The hitboxes for both Car Bodies have been shifted back and lowered for a better visual fit

TOURNAMENTS

  • Season 13 Tournaments are live
  • Any unspent Season 12 Tournament Credits automatically convert into rewards
    • Tournament Credits have converted to the highest level reward you are capable of earning based on your Tournament Rank and the amount of Tournament Credits you have remaining
    • Every player who played in at least one tournament this season will receive one All-Star cup
  • New Tournament Reward items have been added

CHALLENGES

  • Season 13 Stage 1 Challenges are live

COMPETITIVE

  • Season 13 Competitive has started
  • Season 13 Changes
    • Similar to previous seasons, a soft reset has been applied to all Competitive Playlists

NEW CONTENT

ARENAS

  • New Arena variants are now available in Online Playlists:
    • Mannfield (Dusk)
    • Farmstead (Pitched)
    • Wasteland (Pitched)

SEASON 12 COMPETITIVE REWARDS

  • Season 12 Reward Items and Titles will be awarded according to your highest Rank achieved during the season, and successful completion of the appropriate Season Reward Levels.
  • Season 12 Rewards are non-tradable Goal Explosions
    • Bronze I or higher: ‘S12 – Bronze’ Goal Explosion
    • Silver I or higher: ‘S12 –  Silver’ Goal Explosion + lower rewards
    • Gold I or higher: ‘S12 – Gold’ Goal Explosion + lower rewards
    • Platinum I or higher: ‘S12 – Platinum’ Goal Explosion + lower rewards
    • Diamond I or higher: ‘S12 – Diamond’ Goal Explosion + lower rewards
    • Champion I or higher: ‘S12 – Champion’ Goal Explosion + lower rewards
    • Grand Champion I: ‘S12 – Grand Champion’ Goal Explosion + lower rewards
    • Supersonic Legend: ‘S12 – Supersonic Legend’ Goal Explosion + lower rewards
