Deep Rock Galactic’s Latest Patch S04.13 Targets Ryzen CPU Issues

Ghost Ship Games has released a new update for their popular co-op mining adventure game, Deep Rock Galactic. In their latest patch, S04.13 (build 94396), the developers have addressed a critical issue that was causing the game to crash, especially for players using older generation Ryzen CPUs.

Over the festive season, many players experienced crashes, which the Ghost Ship Crew has now traced back to compatibility issues with older Ryzen processors. This problem had been a thorn in the side of many miners, disrupting their gameplay experience.

Patch Notes: S04.13 (build 94396 – 04/01/2024)

  • Attempt at fixes crash for older gen Ryzen CPU’s
  • Added additional logging

Changes from S04.12:

  • Fixed a Steam Socket issue that caused networking not network in some rare cases.
