Escape From Tarkov starts the new year strong with tons of bans

Battlestate Games announced that tons of cheaters have been banned from Escape From Tarkov in just a couple of days after a wipe. Namely, from the start of the wipe (December 27) to today, January 12, with the support of BattlEye anti-cheat, more than 11000 cheaters have been banned in Escape from Tarkov.

Some of these bans have concluded after removing the EoD version of Escape From Tarkov, the rarest Escape From Tarkov edition nowadays. Those who have been cheating on that edition did not care about the inventory size. Well, at least they’ll have the strength to get back to the hideout, I guess.

It’s pretty clear that Battlestate Games is super serious about making sure everyone plays fair and square. This huge ban wave is a real eye-opener. It shows how much cheating occurs in online games and why stern action is needed, especially in a video game like Escape From Tarkov. It’s cruel but also sad to get eliminated by a cheater, leaving you without your kit that you entered the raid with.

As always, Battlestate Games has posted a list of shame, including all the cheaters’ names in a Google Sheets document. You can find it here.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
