Pokemon GO Dusk Timeslot Could Unlock Rockruff’s Evolution into Dusk Form Lycanroc

Trainers, it seems like a Dusk timeslot might be introduced in Pokemon GO. This new feature could play a key role in evolving Rockruff into its Dusk Form Lycanroc, which is a new addition we’re looking forward to.

Back in December 2023, the Pokemod Group dug up some interesting stuff in the update version 0.293. They found hints about new weather stuff, like ‘NONE_TWILIGHT_PERIOD’, ‘DUSK’, and ‘DAWN’, along with day/night and moon phase things.

Some new values related to weather were found in version 0.293, alongside values related to day/night and the moon phase. These values are:

NONE_TWILIGHT_PERIOD
DUSK
DAWN

Starting with The Lustrous Odyssey Event, Dusk Form Lycanroc is joining the Pokémon GO lineup. What’s new here? Some Rockruff you catch or hatch from this event onwards might evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc, instead of the usual Midday or Midnight Forms.

But here’s the catch. Niantic and Pokémon Go haven’t said anything about how to make this evolution happen. Our guess? It’s got something to do with the new ‘DUSK’ value they added. Probably means you’ll need to evolve your Rockruff right after sunset to get the Dusk Form.

So, if you get a new Rockruff with this evolution option, tap on it, and you might see the choice to evolve it into Dusk Form Lycanroc.
