FromSoftware’s Elden Ring has shipped over 23 million units worldwide

FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, an expansive open-world Souls-like action RPG, has surpassed 23 million units in worldwide shipments since its release in February 2022.

This milestone includes both physical and digital sales across platforms, including Steam. By May 2023, the game had already achieved sales of 20.5 million units, indicating a significant increase of over 2.5 million units in the subsequent nine months.

In conjunction with the excitement around Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Bandai Namco’s recent press release highlighted this remarkable sales achievement.

The forthcoming expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, is set to launch on June 21st, priced at $39.99, with both Deluxe and Collector’s Editions available for pre-order. This expansion invites players to explore the Land of Shadow, a realm first tread by Marika, under the guidance of Empyrean Miquella.

It promises to enrich the game with new bosses, adversaries, weaponry, armor, and more. For additional information, visit our detailed review page.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
