Trainers, someone at Niantic pressed the red button again and accidentally released a new, exclusive Avatar pose that some players had a chance to get.
The new pose, which Niantic and Pokemon Go say is exclusive, is called Ph.D. Pikachu, but unfortunately, it is no longer available. Now, Niantic and Pokemon Go have noticed the mistake and announced to X that anyone who received this pose will have it removed from their account. Also, they removed the Avatar items, the glasses and the hat.
Trainers, some upcoming exclusive avatar rewards were accidentally made available to all Trainers for a short time. These rewards are no longer available, and will be removed from Trainer accounts. Details on how to acquire them will be coming soon. Thanks for understanding.

This pose is exclusive and is most likely tied to an upcoming event. We recently discovered a new Captain Pikachu sprites in the game, so we guess these two will be released together.
