Pokemon Go Ban Wave leads to more Wrongful Suspensions of Legit Players
Trainers, in every game there are rules that must be followed. Most of the time these rules are made so that there is no cheating, and all players adhere to the rules. But what if they follow all the rules and end up getting banned or suspended for a while? Is this ban legit? What about the suspension?
Niantic and Pokemon Go’s banhammer seems to be in action again, but this time it’s targeting legit players. Lately, many legit players are getting suspended for 30 days, even though they didn’t violate the Terms of Service (ToS).
Pokemon Go players report they got this suspension while trying to connect to Pokemon Home, while participating in an in-person Raid, PvP, and when sending Gifts. Well, pretty much every feature and action can get you suspended for 30 days now.
Here are just a few players who have gone public about this problem.
What the h*** @NianticHelp, you cannot be serious right now. I am playing normally and when I open my game I see this ? What is wrong with your d*** game. @NianticLabs @NianticHe1p#Pokemon #PokemonGo pic.twitter.com/nGAYgXdOvN

Now, let’s not forget the new Four-Strike policy, warning, suspension for 30 days, suspension for 90 days, and the last one is 3,650 days/10 years suspension. Imagine playing since launch, you follow the rules, and get the 10-year suspension. All those Pokemon caught, Raids done, shiny Pokemon caught, money spent and whatnot, will go down the drain.
Hopefully, Niantic and Pokemon Go will check all the legit accounts, and lift the ban/suspension.
We don’t encourage Pokemon Go players to use specific apps to spoof/cheat. Niantic are very strict with their policy and the rules are there for a reason. Try not to break them and you’ll be safe.
