Trainers, Niantic and Pokémon Go are celebrating the launch of the new animated series Pokémon Horizons: The Series with a new special event, new Pokémon, bonuses, and Field Research task encounters.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series is a new animated series that will debut on the big screens in the USA on March 7th, 2024. To mark the occasion, Pokémon Go players will also be part of the celebration. Pokemon Go players will be able to catch new Pokémon, Charcadet, and Cap’s Hat Pikachu, enjoy the event-exclusive bonuses, and have fun.

Pokémon Go is celebrating the release of Pokémon Horizons: The Series with a special event, two new Pokémon, Snapshot surprise encounters, different Pokémon in Raids, and new Field Research tasks.

The two new Pokémon are Cap’s Hat Pikachu and Charcadet. Cap’s Hat Pikachu can be shiny, while Charcadet will not get its shiny form released.

Pokémon Go players can evolve Charcadet by battling Pokémon while Charcadet is their buddy. It can evolve into Armarouge after they defeat 30 Psychic-type Pokémon, or it can evolve into Ceruledge after they defeat 30 Ghost-type Pokémon.

Please note that you do not have to defeat these Pokémon with Charcadet.

Now, let’s talk about Field Research.
