Pokémon Go player gets +0 XP with the new ‘Use Lucky Egg’ button after being deleted from Friends’ List
Trainers, Niantic and Pokémon Go have added a new QoL, which should make the whole gameplay experience better and easier, right? Well, not when you see +0 XP.
While some players got 10,000 and 100,000 XP each with the new QoL ‘Use Lucky Egg’ button, there are those who got +0 XP. Yes, yes big 0. So, how does this happen? Why didn’t the Pokémon Go player get XP?
Well, it turns out that the player didn’t get any XP, it’s because the other player opened the Gift, got the XP, and immediately deleted the player from the friends list.
So, to make it clearer, ChrisSOAD and Rikoswaveh were Friends. Not just Friends, but Best Friends in Pokemon Go. They decided to take advantage of the new QoL ‘Use a Lucky Egg’ feature to get extra XP. Well, while interacting, and sending gifts, Rikoswaveh got their Gift, opened it, got the XP, and deleted ChrisSOAD from their Friends list. This action cost Chris a lot of XP, and it’s not cool when someone does this.
We don’t think it makes sense for only one player to walk away with XP since both of them were interacting. Niantic and Pokémon should think about these cases, and correct their mistakes. No one wants to waste time, and we all want to get our rewards.
