Pokemon Go to make ‘experiments’ with the Raid Battle Timers, Could This Affect Raids Negatively?
Trainers, Niantic Support just shared a bit of worrying news on X, saying that they will be doing some experiments ‘affecting various countdown timers associated with Raid Battles in the coming weeks.’
Niantic and Pokemon Go want to become Nobel Prize-winning experimentalists, and they hope that their first experiment with timers related to Raid Battles will win them the prize. But knowing them, and the experiments that they have been doing for the past 7 years, we have to warn you, that these experiments can crash the Raid Battles feature.
And we’re not kidding when we tell you this.
Trainers, we will be running a number of experiments affecting various countdown timers associated with Raid Battles in the coming weeks. Please note that the duration of your Raid Battle challenges will not be affected by this test.

Their previous experiments were mostly unsuccessful, but let’s hope that this time won’t be any problems and everything will go smoothly and peacefully.
