Escape From Tarkov will punish Extract Campers in a very funny way

Battlestate Games, the developer behind Escape From Tarkov has revealed that Extract Campers have it coming. Yes, they are going after them, and those who are rotten enough to be waiting for players on an extraction point just to get easy loot are going to get in trouble.

While it’s not a scaling one or otherworldly, Nikita, Battlestate Game’s COO has revealed that they will be punished by reducing their in-game Karma. In-game Karma is usually used for better prices at Fence, or higher authority when playing as a Scav. This usually results in a milder engagement with other AI Scavs and Bosses, but only if you play as a Scav.

The Karma system is made to incentivize Scavs to not shoot each other and cooperate in taking down a much bigger fish, such as PMCs. So whatever you’ve been doing to get the Karma points up, using vehicle extract, eliminating PMCs, or else, will be lost once you engage in this.

New Boss that will hunt players with bad Karma

Now, this all adds up in a way. In an interview with Pestily, Nikita said that those sitting in bushes will get negative Karma, which is a system that’s being tested right now. Apparently, there will be a new Boss that will be added to the game that will be hunting players with bad Karma. He said:

For example, if you will sit in the bushes too long at the extraction it will account the negative karma.

Now combined with the new boss, they will have a bad time. So, make sure you avoid becoming an Extract Camper and play the game as it is supposed to be played. What do you think about this?

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
