NewsPokémon GO

Rumored debut of Wiglett in Pokémon GO, will it end the long period of no new wild spawns?

Seeing the same Pokémon in the wild over and over again can become boring, and sometimes we all need a little refresh, but for a long time now we haven’t gotten any. Niantic, are we good?

Pokémon GO is one of the most thrilling games ever, but even a game from that rank needs something new. Don’t get me wrong, we do get exciting Raid Bosses, Special Researches, tasks and whatnot, but what about the ones in the wild? Those Pokémon are the ones we are seeing every day, every hour, every minute. Even every second. Same old, same old. Nothing new in the wild spawns department for five months.

Yes, dear Trainers, it has been five months since we have gotten a wild Pokémon debut of any kind. The roster is the same. At least throw in some Pokémon so that we can have fun for the next five to ten months.

Well, according to some leaks, it looks like the Pokémon that will end the draught is Wiglett, the Garden Eel Pokémon. I already know what you are going to say, but at least we might be getting something. Put an emphasis on the might though, because this is just a leak, and nothing is confirmed yet.

The debut will supposedly occur during an event called Water Festival in May, and that is what we know so far. If this comes true, I do hope that they will do some other changes to cause some drama (hint, hint).

I must remind you again to not take this seriously, as this is just a leak at the moment of writing. It might come true, but it might come false. Please take it with a grain of salt.
