Close to the Sun is an FPS Horror Game available on the Epic Games Store

It appears that Epic Games is continuing its sensation with the latest additions coming to the Epic Games Store. The Epic Games Store is slowly growing and taking into consideration the upcoming exclusives may start to hurt other digital resellers. One of its last additions is Close to the Sun, which is a first-person Horror Game.

Close to the Sun is currently available for $29,99. European consumers have to pay 29,99 euros, which is a slight bit more than US users. Below you can find the official description of the game, which puts us back in the era of Tesla and its successful invention.

However, players will have the chance to play as Rose, which job is to find her sister on the mysterious adventure. On its path, she will encounter strange and mysterious activities that will slow her mission down.

The game offers incredible world created by Storm in a Teacup, which has been created after many encountered failures that in the end served as an advantage to creating a stronger player experience.

It’s 1897. Deep in international waters, the Helios stands still. Dark clouds loom overhead as unforgiving waves crash against the hull. Colossal effigies of gold, decorated with magnificent finery, stretch as far as the eye can see.

Born of Nikola Tesla’s vision, the Helios serves as a haven for the greatest scientific minds. An unbound utopia for research, independent from state and isolated from the gaze of society. Free to push the boundaries of matter and time.

Journalist Rose Archer steps aboard the Helios in search of her sister Ada. She quickly discovers not all is as it seems. Grand halls stand empty. The stench of rotting flesh lingers in the air. Silence. A single word is painted across the entrance… QUARANTINE!

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
