Jenos is the New Champion to Join Paladins thanks to Patch OB 55

Another patch? Sure why not. Hi-Rez decides to roll out a new OB 55 patch for their Paladins game. This open beta patch will feature a new support champion, Jenos, The Ascended. Jenos owns such a clutch abilities which make him a top-notch supporter, at least for now.

Jenos is the thirtieth champion to come in Paladins thanks to OB 55, which kinda worries the whole Paladins community when it comes down to game’s balance. At least for now, it seems like the developers don’t have any worries when it comes to that, as they are doing quite a good balancing for now. It’s time for Jenos’ ability breakdown.

Star Splitter

Jenos’s normal attack channels the power of the stars and deals 120 damage every 0.13 seconds at medium range.

Astral Mark

He applies a celestial blessing through all obstacles, healing for 250 Health every second for 10 seconds.

Void Grip

Channel gravitational energy and lift an enemy up, dealing 150 damage every second for 2.5 seconds. If the victim manages to move while lifted, it will interrupt Void Grip.

Stellar Wind

Stellar wind will lower Jenos’ weapon and move 75% faster while also increases the jump height and lowers the fall speed.

Through Time and Space

Jenos locks himself in place and gathers the power of the cosmos for 1.5s becoming CC immune. After that he unleashes the energy in a long range blast which pierces through all obstacles and deals 2400 damage.

His ultimate seems like overpowered, as no one will be able to prevent it. Not even the tanks.

Besides the new champion, there will be additional changes for a better health of the game, balance, and as always, new skins. Hi-Rez has grown Paladins into a stable franchise so I guess it’s time for Hi-Rez to remove the Open Beta tag on everything else released in future.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
