The first Appreciation Day event has begun and Pokemon Go players across the world will see an increased spawn rate of one of the new Gen 4 Pokemon – Bidoof.
Niantic and Pokemon Go announced a new Appreciation Day event, that will last for 24hours and during this time, a specific Pokemon will have an increased spawn rate. In addition, we might even see its shiny form, but we’ll talk about it later.

Now, what is the Pokemon Go Appreciation day event and what we know about it:
- Similar to Community Day event, except the length of the event.
- 24h/ one-day event.
- It looks like these events will be focusing on “not so relevant” Gen 4 Pokemon.
