Pokemon Go Big News Coming Early December

Trainers, according to Resetera and the moderator of the well-known gaming forum, something BIG is coming early next month – December. It’s not revealed what is coming or when, but we hope to see PvP mode in Pokemon Go this year, as this was previously announced by Niantic’s Head of Product Marketing in the EMEA region, Anne Beauttenmuller.

Resetera is a forum that discusses video games and most of the time people who work for a specific industry (industry insiders) are the ones who make these type of threads. Now, I know that this doesn’t promise a lot and we might get two new Gen 4 Pokemon instead of PvP, so take this with a grain of salt, well, for now.

We do know that Niantic is working on a PvP mode and that the new feature is expected to launch at the end of 2018, and that’s December. What we don’t know is how this system would work. The current battle system isn’t that much of a fun and the only interesting thing is the rewards. It looks like Niantic has to heavily rework the battle system, or create a more traditional battle system and that would be fun to see.

There doesn’t seem to be anything in the code that points to PvP mode or any type of rework at the moment. Who knows, we might even get Mega Evolutions in December. All I can say is – Trainers, get aboard the HYPE TRAIN.
