Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day Event 2020, Tasks and Rewards Included

Trainers, the month of love is officially here, and this year, like the last three years, Niantic and Pokemon Go will celebrate Valentine’s Day with an in-game event, new pink Pokemon, shiny forms and interesting bonuses.

From the very first day when Pokemon Go saw the light of the day, up until now, we had 3 Valentine’s Day events, in 2017, 2018 and in 2019. Now it is time for the 4th event and many interesting and different bonuses than the previous ones.

Pokemon Go Valentine’s Day Start Date, New Pink Gen 5 Pokemon, and New Bonuses

Start/End Date

  • Start Date: February 14
  • End Date: February 17

Features

  • Pink Pokemon with increased spawn rate in the wild, Raids, Eggs and as Field Research rewards
  • Audion debut
  • Alomomola debut
  • Lure Modules will last 6-hours
  • 2x Catch Candy
  • Shiny Happiny from Eggs
  • Shiny Chansey in the wild
  • Raid Day on February 15 from 1 PM to 5 PM local time featuring Lickitung that knows Body Slam
  • Up to five free additional Raid Passes

  • Catch 5 Slowpoke or Whismur: X1000 Stardust
  • Catch 14 Luvdisc: Alomomola
  • Evolve a Hoppip: Cherubi
  • Hatch 3 Eggs: Lickitung
  • Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts: Chansey (can be shiny)

For last, the following Pokemon and their shiny forms can be hatched from 7KM Eggs:

  • Audino
  • Cleffa (can be shiny)
  • Happiny (can be shiny)
  • Igglybuff (can be shiny)
  • Lickitung
  • Luvdisc (can be shiny)
