I’m recommending a group of 6-7 Trainers, a bottle of cold water and patience, a lot of patience. Some of you might find this very hard, some of you normal. That depends on your Lvl, CP and your moveset.

Venusaur is a Grass/Poison Pokemon, which makes him weak to Fire, Ice, Flying and Psychic. Therefore my selection of Pokemon is Charizard, Espeon, Flareon and Alakazam.

  • Charizard and his Fire Spin/Overheat and Air Slash/Overheat are very effective against Venusaur.
  • Espeon and his Confusion/Futuresight and Zen Headbutt/Futuresight can make some great damage.
  • Flareon and his Fire Spin/Overheat and Ember/Overheat are with the highest DPS.
  • Alakazam and Confusion/Futuresight and Psycho Cut/Futuresight can be very useful in this fight.

Just a few more words before you go with your fellow Trainers and try to defeat Venusaur. Keep in mind that movesets, type effectiveness and resistances are very important in every Raid Battle.
