Latias and Latios Confirmed, They Will be Staying Until June 5

It’s time to say goodbye to Lugia and say hello to our new Legendary Duo Latias and Latios, available to battle and catch starting today, April 2, until June 5, along with a shake-up of Raid Bosses.

Latias available only in Europe and Asia until May 8, then switches region with Latios.

Latios available only in North America, South America and Africa until May 8, then switches region with Latias.

Now, when it comes down to the best counters against the Eon Duo, here is everything you need to know:

The raids against them will not be that difficult, but they have a Psychic sub-typing instead of Flying. Unlike Rayquaza, Ice-types will not be effective against the Lati-twins. These Pokemon aren’t weak to Ice-types, but they are weak to Dark, Bug and Ghost-types. The best counters to them include Rayquaza, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence and Shadow Ball Mewtwo.

If you get the Lati-twins with the Dragon Claw set, the best counters are Gardevoir and Granbull. If the weather is cloudy, these two counters become extremely powerful against the Lati-twins.

For last, we might get a chance to catch their shiny form, so cross your fingers, say a prayer or two and don’t lose hope!
