Pokemon Go Community Day event is something we’re going to be a part of every month in 2018 and within a time period of three-hours, Trainers all around the world will have a chance to earn more XP, Stardust, and catch a special Pokemon with an exclusive move.
So far, we have seen four Community Day events:
- January 20 – Pikachu
- February 24 – Dratini, Dragonair and Dragonite
- March 25 – Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur
- April 15 – Mareep, Flaaffy, Ampharos
The next, fifth in a row Community Day event is going live on May 19, featuring Charmander and its evolution.
Now, thanks to Niantic and their official announcement on Pokemon Go fest, we know the dates for the next two Community Day events. Unfortunately, they didn’t reveal what Pokemon is coming next, so we just have to wait and see.
Plus, there are monthly gatherings happening all over the world on Pokémon GO Community Day. On Saturday, May 19, the Fire-type Pokémon Charmander will be the star! Community Day happens once a month, so make sure you mark your calendars and gear up for events on Saturday June 16 and Sunday July 8.

The Community Day in June will go live Saturday, June 16. The special Pokemon, rewards, bonuses and special move not revealed yet.

Community Day event July
Community Day event #7 is scheduled for Sunday, on July 8. The same as month June, special Pokemon, bonuses, rewards and special move not revealed.
Rumor: July 8 might bring Squirtle as the special Pokemon. He is #7 in the dex, so July/7 would be a perfect month.
