Blizzard is quite optimistic about mobile gaming, even though the majority of the responses for Diablo Immortal have been not so good. According to a report, there are more projects cooking.
There are rumors that they are working on a Warcraft mobile game that has an influence from Pokemon GO.
The main designer, Cory Stockton is a huge fan of PoGO. When a report was done based on Pokemon GO, many Blizzard employees play the addictive game on a daily basis.
We do not have many details yet, but we do know that the focus is on the Diablo franchise for now.
“There are lots of mobile game players at Blizzard. There are lots of people actually excited about mobile games. The reaction inside the company to Immortal is very different than the reaction outside the company.”
