Previous Story: Trainers, new evolutions are coming to Pokemon Go, so now it’s the perfect time to start saving Candy.
The new evolutions are coming soon as now confirmed via Pokemon Go Newsletter. Here is what it says:
“New Evolutions Coming Soon!
Did you know that some Pokemon that you may already have in your Pokedex will be able to evolve in ways they couldn’t before now that Pokemon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region are starting to appear in Pokemon Go? While not all of these Evolutions are currently available, start saving your Candy, as you’ll want to evolve your Pokemon once you have the chance!”

Now, let’s take a look at all Gen 1 through Gen 3 Pokemon that have an evolution in Gen 4.

A special stone (Sinnoh Stone) originally found in the Sinnoh region that can make certain species of Pokemon evolve is now added to the Game Master File, but that’s all we have. There is no info how this item will work in Pokemon Go, but as soon as we have something, you’ll be the first to know. For now, start saving candies and you’ll be safe!
