Safari Zone event kicked off in Tainan, Taiwan today and the interest for this event is huge, and it’s just the first day out of five.
Pokemon Go Safari Zone event in Tainan will run from November 1-November 5, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The event is taking place in the Tainan Metropolitan Park and the Chimel Museum and will run at these two main venues as well as 30 other places in the area.
During the five-day event, participants will be able to encounter rare Pokemon (rare in Taiwan), Unown Pokemon and a Shiny Pinsir.
The event is free and the participants will get NT$150 discount on admission to the Chimei Museum where a ‘limited flash show’ will be held, where parents and children can take photos of the animal hall for the first time. In addition, Tainan Metropolitan Park and the Chimei Museum will be giving away 20,000 Pikachu hats.
What is very interesting is the fact that all hotels in Tainan are fully booked (which never happened before). The Mayor and the Tourism Bureau are expecting to see over 200,000 Pokemon Go players during the Pokemon Go Safari Zone event.
