Pokemon Go New Bug Type Event Announced

Trainers, this is just in!

A new Pokemon Bug Type event has just been announced and starting on April 2 at 1:00 PM PDT until April 9 at 1:00 PM PDT, Pokemon Go players will see:

  • Increased spawn rate of Bug Type Pokemon
  • Incense will last x2
  • More Pokemon to appear when using Incense
  • New Limited time Field Research quests focusing on Bug Type Pokemon
  • Possibly new Bug Type shiny Pokemon (please have in mind that this is not confirmed yet)

It’s time to celebrate all of the “bugs” in the game! Good luck and let’s catch ’em all!
