Pokemon Go Extraordinary Raid Week Event, Raid Hour and Lapras Raid Day Announced

Trainers, a new limited-time Extraordinary Raid Week event has been announced and starting from May 21 until May 28 players around the globe will earn new bonuses, catch new shiny Pokemon, battle against new Raid Bosses and more.

The Extraordinary Raid Week event will go live on May 21 at 1:00 PM PDT and will end on May 28 at 1:00 PM PDT featuring:

New Raid Bosses

  • Tier 1: Machop, Slakoth, Shinx, Bronzor
  • Tier 2: Misdreavus, Kirlia, Mawile, Feebas, Clamperl, and Bibarel
  • Tier 3: Alolan Raichu, Chansey, Scyther, Aerodactyl, and Floatzel
  • Tier 4: Alolan Marowak, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Absol, and Metagross


  • 2x Raid Stardust
  • 2x Raid XP

New Shiny Pokemon

  • Shiny Bronzor

Raid Hour

  • Wednesday, May 22, 2019, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (local time)
  • The number of raids of all levels will increase during the event hour

Lapras Raid Day

  • The Americas, Greenland, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: Saturday, May 25, 2019, 11:00 AM  to 2:00 PM (local time)
  • Asia-Pacific: Sunday, May 26, 2019, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM (local time)
  • Lapras as a Raid Bosses during the event
  • Up to five Raid Passes from Gyms
  • Shiny Lapras
  • Exclusive Moves – Ice Shard and Ice Beam
