Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go introduce a brand new feature called Today View which will help you to stay updated on what’s currently happening in the game.
The Today View feature can be found under the “binocular” tab, just where the Field and Research tabs are. When selecting the Today tab, you’ll see four different sections such as:
- Events
- Pokemon in Gyms
- Streaks
- Upcoming
Under Events, you can find what events are currently running, when they’ll end and what are the bonuses.
The Pokemon in Gyms selection shows you all Pokemon you have in Gyms, how long they’ve been there, their motivation, which Pokemon have returned and how many PokeCoins you’ve earned.
Under Streaks, you can track your daily PokeStop Spin and Daily Pokemon Catch Streaks
The Upcoming selection shows you all upcoming events in order to get ready in advance.
Niantic and Pokemon Go also said that they will be monitoring and adding more selection if necessary.
