Star Citizen Free To Play Week Happening Soon

Cloud Imperium Games is developing Star Citizen, a space flying simulator with a story-driven campaign being in alpha version at present. After a while, Cloud Imperium Games have decided to add a free-to-play period, in which those interested in the game may experience it for the very first time. “Invictus Launch Week 2950” is the official name of the free to play week.

The game includes starships from different classes, available at player choice. In the trailer, you can see the F-8 Lighting, in which you can see inside and outside the fighter. “Squadron 42” is the single-player, cinematic campaign that will feature some famous actors, like Mark Hamill, Gary Oldman, Mark Strong, Liam Cunningham, Ben Mendelsohn, Andy Serkis, Rhona Mitra and more.

The free-to-play week will be from May 22 to June 1, in which you can fly numerous of the United Empire of Earth’s starships. To point out, Star Citizen is a big crowdfunded game with more than 280 million dollars. Also, the preregistered accounts number has passed 2.5 million.
