Pokemon Go New Galarian Forms Debut

Halloween 2020 is probably the most exciting event to date. Niantic reported that they will release Galarian Yamask later this week, and most probably Galarian Ponyta, judging from the images the company has shared on their Twitter account.

The first image that is shown is the mane of the pastel version of the Galarian Ponyta. It wasn’t clear from the first picture which Pokemon it was, but the second one confirmed that indeed, it is Galarian Ponyta. Niantic did not say when it will make its debut, but judging from the autumn-themed picture, we might see it sooner than we think.

Galarian Yamask will come to the game when the Halloween event starts, which is Friday, October 23rd at 6 p.m. PT. This is not the only thing as a part of Halloween 2020. The costumed versions of Gengar and Sableye will make their debut too, while Darkrai is making its comeback in the five-star Raids. Mega Venusaur will be replaced by Mega Gengar on October 23rd, and on October 31st, we will see Alolan Marowak as part of the special Raid Day.

Here is a list of upcoming Galarian Pokemon:

  • Galarian Ponyta
  • Galarian Rapidash
  • Galarian Farfetch’d
  • Sirfetch’d
  • Galarian Yamask
  • Runerigus
