Pokemon Go Espurr could be the Mysterious Raid Boss

Trainers, a mysterious Pokemon is preparing to hatch from one-star Raid Egg on Monday, November 30, 2020, and it looks like we’ll probably see Espurr as the new Raid Boss.

Niantic and Pokemon Go posted four short videos on Twitter hinting at Psychic-type Pokemon.

We know that Gen 6 Pokemon are coming to Pokemon Go on December 2, 2020, so we think the Mysterious Psychic-type Raid Boss will also be from the Kalos region.

Take a look at the teaser videos below, and check out the hints hidden in the transmission.

Niantic and Pokemon Go revealed which Pokemon from the Kalos region will be available to catch in the wild, through Evolution or by hatching Eggs, but Espurr is not on that list. You can find the list below.

  • Chespin
  • Quilladin
  • Chesnaught
  • Fennekin
  • Braixen
  • Delphox
  • Froakie
  • Frogadier
  • Greninja
  • Bunnelby
  • Diggersby
  • Fletchling
  • Fletchinder
  • Talonflame
  • Litleo
  • Pyroar
  • Klefki (Please note that Klefki will be appearing only in France).

Now, thanks to PokeMiners and their datamine, we know that Espurr and many other Gen 6 assets have been added to the game. This doesn’t confirm anything, but it would be great to see more Gen 6 Pokemon.

Gen 6 Pokemon from datamine:

  • Bunnelby, Diggersby
  • Chespin, Quilladin, Chesnaught
  • Espurr, Meowstic
  • Fennekin, Braixen, Delphox
  • Fletchling, Fletchinder, Talonflame
  • Froakie, Frogadier, Greninja
  • Klefki
  • Litleo, Pyroar (both forms)
  • Noibat, Noivern
  • Scatterbug

Will we see Espurr from the mysterious Raid Egg? Or some other Pokemon? Kecleon, Scatterbug, Shiny Mew, or maybe Celebi? What do you think?

  1. You can tell it is espurr. There is a plane in the sky with the number 677 on it, which is espurr’s Pokédex number. In the last video, you can hear espurr’s cry in the background.
