Pokemon Go Kanto Tour New Shinies, Special Research and Exclusive Pokemon Red and Green Version
January is coming to an end, which means that the Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto is getting closer and closer. As you know, this event will be celebrating the Kanto region with many perks, bonuses, exclusive Pokemon, new shiny forms, and Timed and Special Research for the ones that decide to buy a ticket.
Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto will start on February 20, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time. If you are contemplating whether or not to buy a ticket, here are a few things about this event.
The ticket is $11.99, and it is available in the in-game shop already. The ones that do hold a ticket already, soon enough you will need to choose which option you want, the Red or Green version. Depending on which version you chose, different Pokemon will start appearing in the wild, but the main goal of this event is for everyone to have the 150 originally discovered Pokemon in the Kanto region. You can trade with friends, hatch eggs or catch them in the wild.
The Red version will have the following Pokemon:
Ekans, Oddish, Mankey, Growlithe, Scyther, and Electabuzz will be attracted to Incense. You will have an increased chance of having an encounter with the following Shiny versions: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pidgey, Ekans, Pikachu, Nidoran♀, Oddish, Diglett, Mankey, Growlithe, Ponyta, Shellder, Drowzee, Krabby, Hitmonlee, Lickitung, Scyther, Electabuzz, Eevee, Kabuto, and Dratini.
As for the Green Version, the Pokemon are:
Sandshrew, Vulpix, Meowth, Bellsprout, Magmar, and Pinsir will be attracted to Incense. You will have an increased chance of having an encounter with the following Shinyversions: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pidgey, Pikachu, Sandshrew, Nidoran♂, Vulpix, Meowth, Psyduck, Bellsprout, Geodude, Exeggcute, Hitmonchan, Koffing, Tangela, Horsea, Magmar, Pinsir, Eevee, Omanyte, and Dratini.

- Fearow

- Parasect
- Mew
If you think that this is it, Niantic will be rewarding the ones that finish the Pokemon GO Tour: Kanto Special research with an event-exclusive Special Research and a Shiny Mew encounter.
Even the ones that decide not to participate in the event will have fun. Some Pokemon from the Kanto Region will be appearing in the wild and Raids, and during the whole event day, Articuno that knows Hurricane, Zapdos that knows Thunder Shock, Moltres that knows Sky Attack, and Mewtwo that knows Psystrike will be appearing in five-star raids.
